Data collected in Vault mobile app

Vault does not collect or retain your biometric data.

Written by Tori Reichman

Vault collects only the data necessary for creating and resolving reports, and information required for the app to work correctly.

When possible, data is stored locally on your device.

Biometric data

If you decide to use FaceID or TouchID for signing in to Vault, Vault uses biometric data that you previously set up on your mobile device.

The biometric data is saved locally on your device and not collected or accessible by Vault Platform or your employer.

Details of your reports

When you create a report, the report and information you add are stored locally on your device. Information you enter remains private and available only to you until you decide to submit the report.

When you send a report, the assigned case team and the company-level administrator can access it.

Perpetrators named in your reports can never access them in Vault. A perpetrator named in the report is never assigned to it as part of the case team.

If you have any additional questions about biometrics, please contact our Technical Support team.
