Vault endeavours to ensure that you have real-time visibility to the progress of your case once you've submitted it. This means that regardless of how you've reported (via mobile app, Open Reporting, or VaultTalk), you can immediately view the status of your case as well as communicate directly with your Case Manager.
If you've reported using the mobile app
Vault offers in-app notifications to ensure you're informed about the progress of your case. You also have the choice to receive email notifications in addition to in-app updates. These email notifications are designed to be generic reminders, offering an additional level of privacy to serve as a reminder to log in and review the latest information.
After submitting your first report, you'll be automatically prompted to enable email notifications. You can opt-in by simply toggling on the option as shown below.
You can also manually opt-in to email notifications through your Settings. Clicking on the Settings icon and then tap on Notification Settings.
If you are not receiving notifications, please contact our Technical Support team.
If you've reported using Open Reporting
If you have included an email address when filing your report, you will receive email notifications to that email address.
If you have submitted your report anonymously you will not receive any notifications about your report.
Regardless, do ensure that you copy and save your Vault ID in order to log back in and view any updates as well as send and receive messages with your case manager.
If you've reported using VaultTalk
If you've called from a mobile phone, you will be sent an SMS containing a confirmation of your submission and further details about how to log in to Vault for status updates and for further communication with your Case Manager.
If you've called from a Landline or VOIP, you should be familiar with the message about notifications and accessing your submitted report.
