You will be informed of such changes that take place to your report during the investigation via in-product notifications, and if you've provided an email address and opted into receive notifications, you'll also be informed via email.
However, saving your own copy now, ensures you always have a complete original version for your records.
To save your own copy, simply take screenshots of your report and save them in a safe and secure place.
